Hilton Head, SC

Well, we continued our tour of the SC beaches this week in Hilton Head. It was beautiful - we'll definately be back sometime. It combines the more natural look of Seabrook Island with some of the less trashy fun of Myrtle Beach! It's off season right now, so it was very uncrowded, but the weather is already beautiful, so we enjoyed the pool and the ocean without getting chilly. We had a great time with our friends Danny and Heather and baby Brie. Here are some of the pics...

We rented bikes one day which was a huge hit with the kids and everyone else who was not pregnant!



Micah the giant squid... (We had to talk him out of being a mermaid like Katie was. Poor kid needs a brother!)











Unfortunately, this will probably be our only beach trip this year, but it was a great few days. We were glad to see that the kids hadn't lost their sense of adventure with the Atlantic and that Micah had gained a little healthy respect for waves and currents! No deep sea rescue measures needed this year! Now off to nurse the sun burns....
