One Wedding and 6 States Later...

...we are home! Katie's stint as a flower-girl is over. My brothers are all married off and I have finished all of the laundry resulting from said activites! Katie did great, well, good, well.....let's just say that she was entertaining at the wedding! She flashed her panties a couple times and somewhat dismantled the brides bouquet, but I think she served her purpose. I was highly entertained, at any rate. We are all, but especially Katie I think, so glad to have "Aunt Audrey" in the family (officially!)

Micah celebrated the wedding a few blocks away at the house we stayed at, by cutting 3 new teeth and perfecting his standing stance (which still involves something to hold on to.) It is so funny how different kids are - I looked at Katie's calendar today where I recorded her development. At 8 months, which is what Micah is, she could say several words - Micah grunts, growls and says gaa gaa - but she was just starting to sit herself up! Micah crawls faster than some people can walk and pulls up on everything! They are quite different and I'm glad - it is more fun! I think Micah loves me more than Katie ever has - he gazes at me with this amazing look of adoration! I am trying to soak it up, and not laugh too hard, because I'm sure it won't last long! He is so sweet!

On our trip, Micah had his first swimming experience! He was fearless, as are all Castleman children, and, you are not going to believe this, but he floats exceptionally well! Much wet fun was had by all!

Not too much else going on here. Hope your summer is off to a good start!
