What it means to be a kid...

Rick made a gigantic leaf pile today in our ongoing battle with the oak trees! You can't see from these pics, but the pile is in a low area in our yard where we are composting, so it is actually about 5 feet deep! I haven't seen Katie smile this much in a while. I think this is one of her favorite things to do each year. And yes, my kids were outside this morning in bathing suits! It was over 70 at 10:00 in the morning! That's what I call winter!
